In my garden

You do not always need to travel long distances to take pictures. Sometimes two steps from the front door is perfect too.

Last year, I changed en renewed everything in my front yard. I decided to plant flowers. Everywhere gardens are laid out “maintenance-friendly”. This usually means that the garden changes into a large gravel area. Then they think it is strange that there are no butterflies and insects in the garden …..

Stupid, of course. If nothing blooms, insect have nothing to find in your garden.

I do not have much experience with a garden. I have looked at a tall plant for a weeks and thought: is this weed or not? When the first flowers came I knew it. No weeds, but the aster I planted when it was 20 cm high last year. I had no idea it could become 80 cm to a meter high: P

Insects are happy in my garden. On this beautiful day today everything buzzed with bees, bumblebees, hoverflies, etc. Wonderful!
