Poke the bear

Playing with Photoshop and a picture of a brown bear taken in Dierenpark Amersfoort. This gray old bear looks very dangerous. I don’t exactly know what he was doing. But for a long time he he looked at the public like this. Of course I only had one reaction: click!

A nice photo to play with and use actions. I share 5 and more or less indicate how / with what I did the editing.

Photo 1. A natural edit of the original photo, edited in Lightroom, Photoshop and Color Efex Pro (NIK collection).

Photo 2. A monochrome edit to sepia, edited in Lightroom, Photoshop and Silver Efex Pro (NIK collection).

Photo 3. A photo edited in Photoshop with an automated action: Grunge Photoshop Action. Beforehand I changed the background of the photo to one more colorful. This action works best when there is more color in it. After performing this action you have to edit and puzzle, to make sure it looks beautiful.

Do you want to try it yourself with a photo. That can also be a picture of a person or something else, then you can download the action here for free: ACTION

In this video you get examples and explanation how it works: VIDEO

Something that you do not see in the video is that you have to have the language settings of Photoshop on English. Otherwise it does not work.

Photo 4. An edit to a black background. This one fits in my On-Black series.
