Yesterday the weather was perfect for a visit to the Apenheul. Since I had a day off, there was nothing to stop me from going. I enjoyed it again.
This time the area of the Barbary macaques was open. Last time it wasn’t and that makes a huge difference when taking pictures. It gave me the chance to take a lot of pictures. Also of the little young monkey of 4 weeks old.
It is beautiful to see how much love and attention young ones are surrounded with. The little one is not always completely happy with that. At a certain moment, he had completely disappeared among all the family members. It was wonderful to see him peek out afterwards. His head came into view nicely. And click!
