A blog to watch. A collection of photos of butterflies in the butterfly garden of the Orchideeën Hoeve in Luttelgeest. I have had a subscription for several years. I like going there if the weather is less beautiful in the winter and autumn. I then enjoy extra tropical colors, smells and sounds. A beautiful place!
The larva seems to be Dryas julia.

You can be right. I’m no expert. I named it after asking in the “zoo” where I took the photo. I used Google and found this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dryas_iulia
Dryas julia and Heliconius are one family I think. Again, I don’t know.
