A post with bears. Lots of different bears that I have photographed in the past 5 years. When there are bears in the zoo, I usually make an attempt to take pictures of them. They don’t often end up on my website. I don’t think bears in zoos radiate much. It may also be due to their posture. The head is often a little downwards in certain species. I think they are a bit dull. 😮
The few times that they are active, it is very different. Swimming and diving polar bears are beautiful. Other bears playing or taking a bath are also fun, but you don’t see it that often. So I probably miss the action in the zoo. If I see them in a nature movie, then they are so much more fun. Are bears less suitable for a zoo? I do not know. Maybe it’s just me.
