A small surprise

Again pictures taken in Blijdorp, the Zoo in Rotterdam. Animals that I have not photographed that often. But here it is nice, because you can go in to the enclosure. So no fence or glass and they are close. These are Swamp Wallabies. They are not that big and look very cute. And then those beautiful long eyelashes …… 🙂

 

 

 

 

 

 

And then I saw it. Oh, what a nice small surprise. I did not know there was a joey.

 

 

It is still very small and has little hair. It nibbled very briefly on the rose leafs. I did not really like that I think, because it immediately fell back into the pouch. I think it was too small for such food.
