Blanket flowers in the wild

On my walk I saw a lot of beautiful blanket flowers. Yellow and red buzzing with bees and bumble bees.  Of course I had to take photos and make a video. I shared the video as a story on Facebook and Instagram. It is something many love to see and so do I. So I’m sharing photos and a video of blanket flowers and I hope you like it.

Just a thought: these flowers belong in North and Latin America. They don’t belong in the wild in the Netherlands. More and more foreign species grow in the wild in the Netherlands. Our woods are full of “Kiss me on the mountain” and our rivers are full of water hyacinth, etc. These species overgrow the species that do belong and make them disappear. When those plants disappear, the insects that need them disappear. The birds who need the insects disappear, etc. It is wrong.

Yes, they are beautiful, but only should grow in gardens and not in the wild.
