Big beaks

Thursday I was in Ouwehands Zoo. I hadn’t been there for a long time. I had never seen the panda bear cub. That is, of course, already very large. I’ve only seen a sleeping hump of black and white hair. As usual, they were asleep. As much as I like Panda bears, they are downright boring. There is very little movement in them. The more I enjoyed all the other animals in Rhenen.

There are many beautiful and special birds in this zoo. It would be nice if they were housed a little differently. It all looks old fashioned with all that mesh. They don’t have a lot of space. Maybe it’s enough? I don’t know. With the right lens and if the birds are not too close behind the mesh, you can take great pictures of them. That’s why this selection of special birds with very large beaks!
